"Aging dogs present a challenge for all of us who love them. Mine are particularly challenging because they come from the meat markets in Asia. They have a level of trauma that is hard to describe, but suffice to say they are wary of everything and everyone for good reasons. So when I moved from California to Denver, my biggest search was for an in-home groomer with a heart of gold. Thanks to some good contacts, I found Angela Dinsmoor who not only was that person with the heart of gold, but miraculously only tackled the needs of older dogs. Angela, with patience and attention, can read a dog's comfort level during the groom and knows when the dog’s tolerance may be running thin.
